Frozen Fever: Elsa e Anna torneranno nel 2015 con un corto!
Sembra proprio che, dopo il grande successo, non si possa più fare a meno di Frozen!
Proprio pochi giorni fa era arrivata la conferma del musical a Broadway mentre ieri sera, in occasione dello speciale The Story of Frozen: Disney Animated Classic trasmesso sulla ABC, è arrivato il grande annuncio:
Nella primavera del prossimo anno (2015) uscirà un nuovo corto/sequel intitolato Frozen Fever.
Si vedrà il giorno del compleanno di Anna, con Elsa e Kristoff impegnati nei preparativi per i festeggiamenti, ma… anche se i poteri di Elsa non sono più un segreto, controllarli le resta ancora difficile e finiranno per minacciare la festa.
Confermato anche il cast di voci della versione originale: Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff e Josh Gad.
E, ovviamente Robert Lopez e Kristen Anderson-Lopez non mancheranno per la composizione di una nuova colonna sonora
Ricordate Rapunzel – Le incredibili nozze? L’idea è proprio quella! Prepariamoci a morire dalle risate e a gioire ancora una volta con i nostri personaggi preferiti!
Al momento non è stato ancora specificato con quale lungometraggio andrà in scena Frozen Fever, un probabile candidato potrebbe essere Cenerentola in live-action.. -

‘Frozen’ New Animated Short, ‘Frozen Fever’ on Horizon
During tonight’s primetime special, ‘The Story of Frozen: Making An Animated Classic,’ the Walt Disney Company outlined future plans for the franchise, confirming some long withstanding rumors as well as brand new information on how the company plans on building on the successes of the wildly popular film, in addition to the already confirmed Broadway musical production, Disney On Ice’s Frozen on Ice and the upcoming book series from Random House.
Also on the horizon for Frozen is a series of brand new animated short which features the entire Frozen cast with an all new song. The short is titled ‘Frozen Fever’ and will debut in spring 2015. In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.
Disney has made no announcement on what the short will be attached to at this point. While many are speculating it may be attached to Cinderella, this could be a hint at the inevitable 3D Blu-ray release of Frozen, which would have been released in October prior to announcement of the Sing-Along Edition DVD.
Frozen co-directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck also took the opportunity to field questions from fans on Twitter, revealing many behind-the-scenes facts including the following:
The events Frozen take place over the course of one week in July. Originally it was going to be many months, but the story was condensed to fit the new timeline.
Anna was born on the summer solstice (June 21), Elsa was born on the winter solstice (December 21)
Hans was ‘never quite good, but for a while, he was sort of dumb. Sociopaths are more interesting.’
It took eight official drafts to write Frozen, although some scenes required many additional rewrites.
The filmmakers considered giving the trolls the ability to control the Northern Lights.
Olaf knocks over the white queen in the game of chess, symbolizing Elsa reaching her low point.
Although the pacing is often blamed for ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman?’ almost getting cut, Lee says the original lyrics were too dark (sad) for the film. Lee later said it was never not going to be in the film, just not with the original lyrics.
A deleted scene connects a young Kristoff witnessing the healing of Anna to the pair as near-adults.
Deleted song ‘Spring Pageant’ was ‘kind-of’ the opening number in an early draft according to songwriter Bobby Lopez
Many pages were written on the origins of Elsa’s powers but at the end of the day, it wasn’t what the film’s message was
‘Fixer Upper’ was key to setting up the relationship between Anna and Kristoff and sets up Anna’s decision in the third act
There was a regent who stood in for Elsa prior to her coronation, but he was cut for time
Chris Buck feels he is most represented by the character of Kristoff, but the online quiz identified him as a Sven
The filmmakers met with the writers of ‘Once Upon a Time,’ but had no creative input on the Frozen characters in the television series
When asked why the Blu-ray didn’t include something with the magnitude of the special, Lee said they were just lucky to get the movie done on time and added ‘ABC just finished [the special] last week.’
So successful was ‘The Story of Frozen,’ that the television and Twitter event had both #MakingFrozen and #AskFrozen trending worldwide

Come vi avevamo anticipato quest’estate, sulla ABC è stato trasmesso uno speciale dedicato a Frozen – Il regno di ghiaccio intitolato The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic. In cui a raccontare tutti i segreti e i retroscena del capolavoro sono stati i registi Jennifer Lee e Chris Buck, il produttroe Peter Del Vecho, le voci originali di Elsa e Anna Idina Menzel e Kristen Bell e gli autori della colonna sonora Christophe Beck, Kristen e Robert Lopez.
Ma soprattutto è stato rilasciato il tanto atteso annuncio. Nella primavera del 2015 uscirà un corto intitolato Frozen Fever che sarà una sorta di sequel (non come i libri). Racconterà infatti un avvenimento importante nella storia dei personaggi che ormai tutti conoscono e amano. È il compleanno di Anna e Elsa e Kristoff sono determinati a festeggiarlo nel modo migliore, ma i poteri di ghiaccio di Elsa potrebbero creare non pochi problemi al party. E naturalmente verrà scritta ad hoc per l’occasione una nuova canzone da Kristen e Robert Lopez.. -

Frozen Fever: prime immagini del sequel
Ok, non sarà un sequel molto lungo, anzi è più un cortometraggio, ma meglio di niente.
Frozen Fever precederà il film Cinderella al cinema dal 13 marzo.
In attesa di Frozen 2, la Disney ha voluto regalarci qualche minuto di Elsa ed Anna.

Frozen Fever: ecco il Trailer italiano!
Finalmente ecco il Trailer anche in Italiano dell’attesissimo Frozen Fever, il corto/sequel che ci farà tornare ad Arendelle.

Diretto da Chris Buck e Jennifer Lee, e prodotto da Peter Del Vecho e Aimee Scribner, con una nuovissima canzone originale di Robert Lopez e Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Frozen Fever sarà proiettato al cinema prima di Cenerentola live action il 12 Marzo 2015.
