See Mufasa’s Family Tree in This Exclusive Lion Guard Video
With The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar set to premiere on the Disney Channel on November 22 at 7 p.m. we’ve been feeling pretty nostalgic. Luckily, we’ve gotten our hands on an exclusive video which traces Mufasa’s family tree all the way down to Simba’s youngest cub, Kion—who is the star of the new show. Check it out below:
The video chronicles Scar’s betrayal, the rise of both Simba and Nala, and shows what Kion will be up against as the leader of the Lion Guard. While his older sister, Kiara, was destined to be queen, Kion will be tasked with protecting the Pride Lands and the Circle of Life.
In addition to Kion and his new chums—Fuli, Beshte, Bunga, and Ono—several familiar faces will be making an appearance. So if you’ve been wondering what Kiara, Simba, Nala, Zazu, Rafiki, Pumbaa, Timon, (and ghost Mufasa) have been up to, you’ll definitely want to tune in.

E questo, direi, conferma la teoria che Scar fosse capo della Lion Guard: chissà quali risvolti si nasconderanno in questa serie e nel film? Non rimane altro da fare che aspettare e vedere.
